  • 2017: AHRC-Creative Fuse North East Innovation Pilot Fund (£5,000 awarded for a collaborative, creative digital project with five academic and SME partners)
  • 2012-2016: University scholarship to undertake PhD studentship at the RCUK-funded dot.rural Digital Economy Research Hub, University of Aberdeen (full stipend, Home/EU fee cover and travel allowance)
  • 2008-2009: President’s Graduate Fellowship (National University of Singapore)
  • 2008-2010: Research Scholarship to undertake Masters at the National University of Singapore (full stipend, fee cover and travel budget)
  • 2007: Rosie Heng-Ko Poh Choo Gold Medal (awarded to the best female student in the Department of Sociology in the Examination for the degree of Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours, National University of Singapore)
